Bill moved his family to Colorado shortly after graduation and has loved it ever since. Bill enjoys skiing, playing golf and softball, and attending Cornhusker football games in the fall. Derek was born and raised in Knoxville, lA, a small town southeast of Des Moines. During high school, Derek discovered an interest in math and science and decided to travel to Des Moines to pursue a degree in pharmacy at Drake University. Upon graduating from pharmacy school in 2007, Derek worked for Medicap Pharmacy in Indianola, IA. After 4 years in a retail pharmacy setting, Derek felt the need to pursue a new challenge. Throughout his childhood, Derek has always had a love for the mountains. As a result, a decision was made during the summer of 2010 on a move to Colorado to look for a new start in pharmacy. After a long search for a job to fit his professional goals, Derek found a perfect home with Brown's Compounding Center. In addition to a love of the mountains, Derek's interests also include cheering on his beloved Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Iowa Hawkeyes, traveling, hiking and enjoying live music. |

Michelle is a North Dakota native. She attended North Dakota State University and graduated with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 1998. Michelle spent 14 years in the retail pharmacy setting prior to joining Brown’s Compounding Center in June of 2012. Michelle and her husband moved to Colorado in 2000 and they and their two children have called it home ever since. Michelle’s interests include attending her children’s activities, skiing and photography. |

Jim's professional experiences include pharmacy practice within the Salud Clinic System and Colorado Medicaid program before joining the Brown's team in 2013. A lover of all things outdoors, Jim loves coaching baseball, fishing, camping, hiking, and snowboarding. He stays busy keeping up with two young sons, Dylan and Ian, and brewing beer when time allows. Jim is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and has previously served as a member of the Drug Effectiveness Review Project. |

She started her vocation in Dentistry and later changed her career path to pharmaceutical compounding. She has been in pharmaceutical compounding for 10 years. Her free-time activities include hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. Thelma also has a strong passion for photography. |

She specializes her time at Brown’s Pharmacy with our Patient Care Team. Outside of work, Genevieve enjoys taking in to Colorado outdoors and spending time with her precious and beautiful children."

Subsequent to her husband's promotion, Jana and her family embarked for new scenery and exploits after having lived in Kansas. Jana came to work for Brown's and brought with her 9 years of experience in long tern care and a pharmacy technician education from Wichita Area Technical College. Jana is married and raises three young boys who have a propensity for creative ventures. Excited to be building a new home in Castle Rock, Jana and her family are looking forward from such an auspicious start to all the felicitous times to come.

Molly moved to CO from North Carolina in 2011. She had always been in sales and decided the health field was for her. After taking care of patients in their homes, she started a Pharmacy Technician program and fell in love with her new career. Molly joined the Brown's family in 2012 and couldn't be happier.

Sara was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida. She moved to Colorado in 2003 after graduating high school. She started working as a compounding Pharmacy Technician in 2007 and immediately knew she had found her calling. Sara was certified as a CPhT in October 2010. She lives in Littleton and currently attends Arapahoe Community College working towards her Associates of Science. She plans to attend Pharmacy school at C.U. and get her PhD in Forensic Toxicology. She is ecstatic to be a part of the Brown's Compounding team and looks forward to many, many years here!

Julie came to work at Brown’s Compounding Center in February 2013. She brings with her many years of customer service experience from working as a licensed cosmetologist in salons and spas across the Colorado front-range. Julie was born and raised in England before immigrating to the United States with her family at 10 years old. She has lived in Colorado ever since. Julie currently resides in Castle Rock with her teenage children and enjoys spending time with them and her dogs. She has many interests including horse-back riding, traveling, and enjoying the Colorado outdoors. Julie is excited to be working with the Brown’s Compounding Center team.

Linda is a proud Colorado native having been born and raised in the north metro area. Prior to working at Brown’s Compounding, Linda started her career in manufacturing until an on-the-job injury caused her to change careers and get into the "white collar world." This also triggered a trip to college where Linda earned a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications from Westwood College in 2006. Having spent 10 years in inside sales, it was again time for a change that happily brought her to Brown's. Linda lives in Parker with her husband. Her two adult children and granddaughter are also nearby. Linda's interests include the Broncos, reading, and a good cup of coffee!

Katie is originally from the east coast, calling "home" anywhere from New Jersey to Vermont. She holds a B.S degree in Speech Pathology/Audiology with a minor in Psycology from Trenten State College. She also has a CNA license and will soon be receiving a nursing degree from Arapahoe Community College. She also hopes to work toward a CPhT Certificate in the near future. Katie lives in Parker with her cat, Ollie, and her 8-year old daughter.

Daphne joined the team in January 2009. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Daphne moved to Denver in 1997. She lives in Parker with her husband and their son. She has attained certifications in Human Resources, QuickBooks, and is a Global Mobility Specialist. Daphne is also a member of (SHRM) Society for Human Resource Management. |

Louis was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. He has a fiancé, and a two-year-old son. He graduated from Everest College with a 4.0 GPA in December of 2011. Shortly after graduation, he became a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT). He is planning on continuing his education to become a pharmacist. |

Jonathan was born in Topeka, KS and grew up in Wichita, KS. He moved to Denver in May 2009 and got married in August 2009. Jonathan attended Heritage College in their Pharmacy Technician program graduating in January 2011, and then went on to receive his certification in March 2011. Jonathan started working at Brown's Compounding Center in June 2011. On July 15, 2011 he and his wife welcomed a beautiful baby girl. |

She is currently attending classes at the Community College of Denver in order to pursue a degree in Radiography. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors. |

Indigenous to Russia, Nelli moved to Colorado in 1999 and gained her pharmacy technician certification in 2011. After working in the hospital setting Nelli, was hired into the Brown’s family in 2012 and quickly took to her role in the call center with gusto and alacrity. Nelli enjoys being able to translate for our patients who speak Russian as well as lending her skills in the lab compounding. Nelli is a vivacious presence and imbues the work atmosphere with cheer and humor. As a dilettante in photography, Nelli captures the story of her friends, family, and places of travel as testament to her affinity for culture and exploration. |

Sarah is originally from the Dominican Republlic. She cam to the United States in 2003, just after graduating from high school, to study English at Holyoke Community College, in Holyoke, Massachusetts. During that time and while finishing her English studies, she decided on a career as a Pharmacy Technician. Sarah finished her Associate's Degree and graduated in January of 2008. Her mother was a huge influence because she used to own a retail pharmacy store in the Dominican Republic and Sarah sometimes helped her; that is why Sarah was motivated and so interested in Pharmacy. In 2008, Sarah moved to Kansas where she worked for Aetna at its Data Entry Department. A year later, Sarah started her first job as as a Pharmacy Technician at Midwest Compounders Pharmacy. While working there, Sarah had the opportunity to train students who were pursuing a pharmacy career at University of Kansas ( KU ). After three years at Midwest Compounders Pharmacy, Sarah decided in 2012, to move to Colorado to join relatives. She also joined the Brown's team where she puts her compounding and customer care skills to work. Sarah is bilingual (English/Spanish) and is really able to help our many customers obtain the quality of service they deserve. |

Patience and affinity for all things scholarly have marked Travis’s edified career interning at Johns Hopkins Neurotoxicology Lab, PET imaging, and Neural Stem Cell science at Stanford University with poster presentations at symposiums national and world-wide so far as Kyoto, Japan. Travis enjoys volunteering, teaching others, and has trained in Ninpo-Ti Jutsu and Kempo as they afford the implementation of discipline, coordination, and focus. |

Tracy was raised in southern California and moved to Colorado after attending Black Hills State University in Spearfish, SD. She spent 10 years teaching public school and earned a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Once her children, Kaissen and Riley, were born, Tracy went from teaching to the business world where she was a Project Manager and then Director of Operations for a nationwide government contracting firm. Tracy joined Brown's in 2012. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys RVing, water sports, skiing, and spending time with her family and dogs. |

Our owner and pharmacist, Darby Brown, RPh, opened Brown’s Compounding Center in December 2004 and has been serving the Denver metro community ever since. Darby, born in Oberlin, Kansas, graduated from Garden Plains High School in 1988. After attending Fort Hays State University where he attained his BS in chemistry, Darby proceeded to Pharmacy school at the University of Kansas. Both Darby and his wife Kristen graduated from Kansas University and have been practicing Pharmacists ever since. Darby and Kristen have three children, their oldest daughter Piper, middle daughter Peyton, and their son Brigham.
Bill was born and raised in rural Nebraska. He turned his interest in biology and chemistry into a career in pharmacy after obtaining a Pharmacy Doctorate degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2002.
Despite being born in Albuquerque New Mexico, Miles likes to consider himself a Colorado native after moving to Colorado at 3 months old. His avid enjoyment of tennis, golf, and especially skiing the Colorado slopes keeps bringing him back; first leaving for an undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, coming back for a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado, and then leaving again for a residency training program from Purdue University which led him to discover compounding as a career.
Jodi joined Brown’s Compounding Center in the spring of 2011. She was raised in Harrison, NE and attended pharmacy school at the University of Wyoming. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in 1987, Jodi worked for Eli Lilly and Company as a sales representative. After marrying and having two daughters, she left full-time employment to stay home and raise her girls. Since then, she has worked part-time in the retail pharmacy setting. Jodi has always been interested in more of a preventative approach to health and wellness so when the opportunity arose to join Brown’s Compounding Center, she jumped at the chance. Jodi is pleased to be part of the team and enjoys helping our patients improve their quality of life.
Natasha Popowczak decided to pursue a career as a pharmacist to help others lengthen and improve the quality of their lives. A native of Colorado, Natasha grew up in Aurora and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Metro State College, then later her Doctorate of Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Center.
Jessica grew up in wonderful Wyoming where her family still resides. She attended Casper College where she received her Associate of Science degree and then completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at the University of Wyoming. She then continued on to the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center to achieve her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2006.
Ashley is a Colorado native, raised in a small town in the eastern part of the state. She attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received her B.S. in Chemistry, then continued her education earning a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado in 2013. 
Mary Ann has been a part of Brown's Compounding since the fall of 2010. Prior to working at Brown’s Compounding graduated from Arapahoe County Community College with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts starting her career in banking, remaining in this field for many years. Mary made the decision to go back to school and attend the Pharmacy technician program at Arapahoe Community College and graduated in the summer of 2010 receiving her CPHT certification.
Nancy was born in California, but raised in Colorado. She graduated high school in 2009 and graduated from Everest College in May of 2010. Nancy joined Brown's Compounding Center in fall of 2010 and soon after became certified. Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys the sport of baseball. Nancy plans on going back to school in the future for a pharmacy or psychology major.
Jennalee earned her pharmacy technician certification as a junior in high school and has been working in various realms of pharmacy off and on ever since. Having graduated from Chaparral High School in Parker, Jennalee subsequently obtained her BA in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University. She then coordinated clinical research for the Neuroendocrine unit of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Lasca is a Colorado native and currently lives in beautiful Castle Rock. She has been a Pharmacy Technician since 2008 and recently became a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) when she joined Brown’s Compounding Center in 2011. She started in retail pharmacy, but was always interested in compounding. Now she is doing what she loves at Brown’s and can truly say she enjoys her job. Outside of work, she stays busy with her two wonderful kids and husband. When her family has free time, they love getting outside and exploring Colorado together.










Matthew was born in Nebraska, and raised in Colorado. His family moved here in the mid 90’s and they haven’t wanted to leave since. He started at Browns Compounding Center in December 2009. Matthew was initially working part-time during his senior year of high school. His favorite outdoor activities are camping and hiking. He is currently working towards a degree but has not decided on a major.
Connor was born and raised in Colorado. He started working at Brown’s Compounding Center in November 2011 to support the Lab Technician’s and their responsibilities. His favorite outdoor activity is snowboarding and he goes any chance he gets. He also enjoys working on cars in his free time.
Lorin has lived in CO since 1999. She loves hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snowmobiling, and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys taking care of animals. But most of all, Lorin loves living life.
